Lines of Action Constructions

Interesting constructions based on Lines of Action, but not necessarily based on actual play.

The Shortest Possible game

What is the shortest possible game, assuming both players cooperate to end the game as quickly as possible. Send in your answers, I'll post the best current solution here.

Shortest Standard Game

Here is the shortest known game, devised by Philip Cohen, and published in November 1973 NostAlgia. It's called the "Foolswin"; just nine moves long.

Foolswin, 9 moves
B 1 c1 a3+
W 2 a2 c4
B 3 c8 a6+
W 4 a4 d4
B 5 e1 c3
W 6 d4 g4
B 7 c3 a5+
W 8 c4 f4
B 9 a3 a7+

Pretty slick? Unbeatable? In December 1973, Mannis Charosh devised this improvement, which doesn't require the last move be a suicide play.

Charosh's Foolswin wiout suicide
B 1 d1 b3
W 2 h5 g4
B 3 b1 b4
W 4 g4 g1+
B 5 b4 e7
W 6 a3 c1+
B 7 b3 e6
W 8 h3 f1+
B 9 e1 e5 ;Wins!

Unbeatable? The record is more than 20 years old, but one of white's moves is not a capture, so within the same rough game plan, an 8 move game (with a suicide ending) might be possible.

Shortest Scrambled Eggs game?

Here's the shortest known game for the Scrambled Eggs variation (11 moves!) , devised in May 1999 by   JorgeGómez Arrausi.
This supercedes the previous best (13 moves), devised circa 1991 jointly by Philip Cohen and Michael Keller.
