Tammany Hall
Tammany hall is an area influence game for 3-5 players, based on
corrupt election practices in the classical Tammany Hall era of New
York politics. The game takes place over 16 years,
with an election every four years. Simple rules determine who
is allowed to vote in each election, and what ethnic groups can be
deployed on demand to influence the outcomes.
One unusual aspect of the game is that collusion among the players is
explicitly allowed - but also
that agreements are completely unenforceable. Just like in
real life politics.
